Here is another listing in the series of reasons some of my customers have given me for purchasing the prints of my State Tree series.

This has to do with the Law of Attraction:  A woman bought an image of the state she lives in now (Illinois) and one for the state she wants to move to! (Colorado)

Two women bought a print for their husbands who were from that state.  Missouri and Florida.

Here are some more of the reasons why real people have bought the State Tree prints. Select one yourself and give me the reason you chose it.  Yours could be in the next installment!  (Each different color and underlined state name is a link to the page on the website.)

#11 During Artwalk last June, a customer  bought Minnesota to honor his roots and home state.

#12 A mom in New York recieved a print as a gift from her daughter who grew up in New York, but lives elsewhere now.

#13 A couple from Connecticut bought the first prints of Nevada and Utah to remember their trip through the west.

Hello again, Here is one more installment in the series of blog posts listing actual reasons customers in my gallery have given for them buying a print or prints of my “State Tree” series.  The series was completed in April of 2009 after nine years of research and painting, drawing, and getting prints done.  If anyone is interested in the original set of 51 paintings, please contact me.  I would like to sell them as a complete set. Now for the reasons:

8. Several people have bought them as gifts for loved ones: anniversary gift for her husband, birthday gift for her mom, holiday gift for kids, spouse, parents.

9. One customer bought South Dakota because of the native Americans pictured, she collects pictures of native Americans.

10. One customer bought the Hawaii print because she likes BLUE!  So you see the reasons don’t have to be profound, just personal!

Reason # 5: One of the most touching stories for me was the woman who talked with us for a long time about her father and how he grew up in Texas and loved that state.  She bought the proof of Texas, I thought, FOR her father; it turned out it was for her to remember her father who has passed on.

Reason #6 One customer bought Minnesota as a “Thank You” gift for the couple who bought their house and had moved from Minnesota.

Reason #7: A customer bought Illinois where they live now, and planning to get smaller ones of each of the states they have lived, Texas, Kansas, and Nebraska and a set for each of their grown children.

3. One customer from Texas bought Idaho to remember her college days and Missouri for her husband who was born there.

4. A friend who moved to Texas is collecting one for each state she has lived in.  New York where she grew up.  (She also bought one for her mother.), Georgia, where she spent many years, Colorado, most recently lived and worked.
